My name is Marina Buswell, MA, LPC, BCN. I am a Board-Certified Neurotherapist, with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a License in Professional Counseling in the state of Colorado. Over the years I have had the incredible opportunity to watch people take their first steps in self-development by focusing on their mental health.

I am here to offer support and guidance to help you reach your mental health goals.

I am  passionate about mental and physical wellbeing and providing a space for people to learn more about themselves and how they can live a more fulfilling authentic life.

When I am outside of the confidential counseling office I enjoy live concerts (especially at red rocks), yoga, snowboarding, reading, camping, and spending time with my friends and family. Living a healthy lifestyle includes self care and good relationships so they are always a top priority!

My name is Aleix Lyon and I am so excited to join the team at Golden Counseling Center. My goal is for you to feel understood, cared for, and empowered in this process. I want to honor the courage and commitment that it took for you to seek counseling, and serve as a resource for you as you work towards achieving your mental health goals. 

 

I studied Psychology and Communication at the University of Colorado in Boulder, and am currently working towards my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Colorado Christian University. Upon completing this program, I plan on becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. My previous professional experience has allowed me to work with teens and adults in a variety of nonprofit settings, in which I have assisted them in identifying goals and navigating life's transitions and difficulties. In my free time, you can find me skiing, going to concerts with my husband, traveling with friends, and watching the Bachelor with my family.
