Hi, I’m Chaucee, a trauma therapist here at GCC. I work alongside my service dog, Jax, and specialize in supporting those navigating complex trauma, C-PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, harm reduction, and recovery.
I take an integrated, trauma-informed approach to therapy, which means there’s no one-size-fits-all path to healing. My work is holistic and client-centered, shaped around your unique experiences and needs, while also building practical tools for stability, self-trust, and growth.
As a service dog user myself, I have a deep appreciation for working with people living with both visible and invisible disabilities. Jax has shown me firsthand the healing power of the human–animal bond.
I’m also committed to creating an affirming, inclusive space for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients, where your full identity is seen, respected, and supported.
Outside of sessions, you can usually find me reading, knitting, cuddling with my cats and dogs, playing my Nintendo Switch, or spending time with my nieces and nephews.
If this sounds like a good fit, I’d love to connect. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and able to move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
