Mental Health Counselor
About ME

With an empowering & non-judgmental approach I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & Solution Focused Therapy with skills including motivational interviewing, mindfulness, & Adlerian therapy. In addition to these talk therapy skills, I can incorporate neurofeedback which is a technology that maps a client’s brain & discovers dysregulation. We can then address specific brain-based causes for many emotional and behavioral issues. (Check the Neurofeedback tab for more information on what this means)
It is not only fascinating but also very important to understand how and why our brains work the way they do. I bring in psychoeducation around why your brain makes the choices it does. With better understanding and more awareness about what goes on in the brain, it is much easier to have compassion for ourselves and love ourselves through the hard process of growth and change. Connecting the mind and body is powerful and effective.
I have experience working with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, relationship problems, sleep issues, eating disorders, learning disabilities, and much more. It is my pleasure to join clients in the process of self-exploration and assist individuals in understanding that they have the power to make positive and lasting changes in their lives.
I am honored to be in the position to see growth and change in people as they take steps to improve their lives. Please call for a free 15 minutes consultation to see if we would be a good match.
All clients have the right to obtain an "In Good Faith Estimate" for their services. You can find more information here.
