In-Person Therapy

In-person therapy sessions are held at our Colorado office and offer the benefit of being physically present in a dedicated therapeutic space.

Many clients find that meeting face-to-face helps them feel more grounded, connected, and supported throughout the counseling process.

In-person counseling allows therapists to notice subtle nonverbal communication, body language, and nervous system responses in real time. This can deepen emotional awareness and support more effective treatment for concerns such as anxiety, trauma, depression, and relationship challenges.

For clients who value structure, privacy, and a consistent environment, in-person therapy provides a reliable space to focus fully on healing and personal growth.

Online Therapy

Online therapy provides flexible, secure access to mental health support from anywhere in Colorado.

Virtual counseling sessions are conducted through a HIPAA-compliant platform, allowing clients to receive professional care from the comfort of home or another private location.

Many people choose online therapy because it reduces travel time, increases scheduling flexibility, and makes it easier to maintain consistent support during busy or stressful periods.

Research shows that telehealth therapy can be just as effective as in-person counseling for many concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions.

Online counseling can be an excellent option for individuals who prefer convenience, have mobility or health considerations, or feel more comfortable opening up in their own environment.

Our Approach

Individual therapy at GCC is collaborative, flexible, and centered around you.

Sessions are guided by your goals, your pace, and what feels most relevant in your life right now.

Your therapist will work with you to:

    •    Build insight and emotional awareness
    •    Develop healthier coping strategies
    •    Strengthen self-compassion and resilience
    •    Understand patterns that no longer serve you
    •    Create sustainable change without pressure or shame

Therapy isn’t about fixing you — it’s about supporting you.

Our Therapists Are Experienced In...

Trauma

Trauma can live in the body long after the event has passed. Individual therapy offers a safe, steady space to process difficult experiences, understand trauma responses, and gently restore a sense of safety, control, and self-trust — at your pace.

Grief & Loss

Grief isn’t linear, and there’s no “right” way to move through it. Therapy provides space to honor loss, express what feels unsayable, and navigate life after change — whether you’re grieving a person, a relationship, or a chapter of your life.

PTSD

Living with PTSD can affect sleep, relationships, emotions, and your sense of safety in the world. Therapy helps you understand your nervous system responses, reduce reactivity, and develop tools that support grounding, regulation, and stability.

Life Transitions

Even positive changes can feel destabilizing. Therapy can help you navigate transitions such as career shifts, identity changes, relocation, parenthood, or major life decisions — offering clarity and support during periods of uncertainty.

Anxiety & Stress Management

Learn how to calm an overactive nervous system, reduce overwhelm, and respond to stress with more clarity and control. Therapy helps you understand what’s fueling your anxiety — and how to work with it, not fight it.

Neurodivergence

Explore your experiences with ADHD, autism, or other neurodivergent traits in a supportive, affirming space. Therapy focuses on self-understanding, practical tools, and reducing shame — not trying to make you “fit” a mold.

Relationships

Navigate relationship challenges, boundary-setting, identity shifts, career changes, or major life transitions with support. Therapy can help you make sense of change and move forward with intention instead of pressure.

Parenting

Parenting is demanding — emotionally, mentally, and physically. Individual therapy offers space to process stress, explore parenting patterns, and develop tools that support both you and your child.
