We support individuals navigating a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, depression, trauma (including complex trauma and C-PTSD), life transitions, grief and loss, relationship challenges, neurodiversity (ADHD and autism), and stress related to work, family, or identity. We also work with perinatal and new parents, and offer support for those feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of what’s next. You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin—therapy can be a place to sort through it together.

Yes, we offer in-person services at our Applewood location as well as virtual options too.

We are an out-of-network provider, which means we do not bill insurance directly. However, many clients are able to receive reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits. We can provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) for you to submit to your insurance company. If you’re unsure about your coverage, we’re happy to help you figure out what questions to ask.

Rates vary depending on the type of service and provider. We believe in transparency and will review current rates during your consultation so you can make an informed decision that feels sustainable for you.

Yes. We offer a free consultation so you can ask questions, learn more about our approach, and see if Golden Counseling Center feels like the right fit, without any pressure or obligation to move forward.

You don’t need to know that answer before reaching out. During your consultation, we’ll talk through what you’re experiencing and help determine which services, or a combination of them, might best support your goals.

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Some people come to therapy for a short period to work through a specific challenge, while others choose longer-term support for deeper or ongoing work. We’ll regularly check in on your goals and what’s feeling helpful so therapy stays aligned with what you need. You’re always in control of the pace and duration.
